Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Two are partially erupted and one is coming in sideways. I hope it's not too bad. I want to see Star Trek ! But I will be in pain or something.

Stock up on pudding, soup, cottage cheese, and that sort of stuff. Scrambled eggs? Good. Toast? Bad. Bananas? Good. Apples? Bad.

Oh shit, I forgot to buy eggs.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

But I will be in pain or something.

That's why they give you painkillers.

I don't think I even needed to take painkillers after my wisdom teeth were pulled, and I know a lot of people who were the same way.

The way this is going, I will order a pizza Friday night and wonder what I'm going to do with all that yogurt and soup and pudding.

hwæt

I took vicodin for three or four days after getting my wisdom teeth pulled before switching to advil.

Pudding is always a good choice, whether you have 1 tooth or 100.

Okay, 100 teeth would be weird. But still. I stand by my love of pudding.

Librarian Warlord

I had four impacted wisdom teeth removed and ate pancakes the next day.

“Not dead yet!”

The upper ones had descended normally, so they were just pulled, the lower ones were impacted and growing sideways, so they were broken and extracted.

I ate a lot of soft-boiled and scrambled eggs for a couple of days. Three days after the surgery I was on a plane going from Miami to Tempe to play in the Fiesta Bowl. Only thing doc told me was not to play my trumpet too hard because it was possible I could blow the stitches out and to rinse my mouth after every meal.

Beyond that, he was all "Vaya con Dios, m'ija."

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Pudding is always a good choice, whether you have 1 tooth or 100.

The secret's out - Teppy is a shark! Spread the word!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I couldn't eat at all for several days after getting my wisdom teeth out, but I had an unpleasant reaction to anesthetic and couldn't take the painkillers, had to make do with icing my jaw. Opiates and me, apparently unmixy things.

GO TO THE DOCTOR

I support the smart lady's suggestion.

blenders

Sadly, I do not own one. I only have hand blender. Not the same.

And DUDES. It's the first time anyone in uni asks about my BtVS pin (on my bag. I have several, which I change along with the mood. The current one is "because it's wrong", which is on my bag since the operation in Gaza Strip started), and who is it, out of all people? My favorite professor from the first semester!

... The man doesn't know Buffy (which kills my hope that one of his jokes was an Angel reference), and was polite enough not to show he thinks I'm totally crazy. I'm not sure what I think about it. I can't even recall when was the last time I met a nice and snarky person who never heard of the show. I was a little bit confused.
