If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Man, what a sucky day all around. (Except for the eyes. Yay eyes!)

Dag...tough breaks all around. Here's hoping for better days, in whatever way they show up.

Ugh, sorry to hear about the bad days folks.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Holy crap, I took some random survey in March, and apparently I won a $100 AMEX gift card.

So, uh...my day got a little better?

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

You know what I want to do this weekend? I want to fly to CA, see people, and go to Disneyland. There is no way on earth I can do that, but that's what I want.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

{{{ Jilli }}} Damn. I saw the article and a cold chill went down my spine. It was freaky. But I think this is a door slam/window open moment.

will the train do? If you can get down there, I could see about my friend walking you in (i.e. free entry).

What is even happening?

Jilli, I'm so sorry about the job. And Nora, I'm sorry about school. I think the person who graded your essays is weak, and you can tell 'em I said so.

Welcome Home, Wallybee & Babytea! I usually check Beep Me and Press, even when I'm not actively posting, but I guess it's been a while. I didn't even know Babytea had been born. Ryan is beautiful, billytea, as well you know. I'm so very happy for you and your beautiful family.

Seska -- is that really you? I got all discombobulated for a moment, wondering which board I was at. Hi, hi, hi!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Thanks Cindy, and thank you to everyone else. We have passed the first night successfully with some dedicated tag teamingpretty well I think. Of course, to add insult to injury, every so often I get woken in the middle of the night by stomach cramps, and that happened last night while Ryan was actually settled.

We have come to the conclusion that we need more. Clothes, cot blankets, bottles, just generally more. I predict shopping in my future.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Just finished giving my students their final exam. One girl was really sick, and fell asleep while taking it.

Our wings are not tired.

Today does indeed suck and can fuck itself. I am really sorry to hear about the job, Jilli. I admit the FIRST thing I thought when I read your post was "more time to champion the awesome book!" Still, though, I've been laid off 5 times and it sucked hard every time.

And today, on a personal note, has sucked too. I have my first exam tomorrow, and have a puppy who is incredibly fearful of everything and also apparently has a UTI. Both conditions are worrisome, and have been a huge distraction to my studies. Anyway, I walked into the office today, holding her (because she won't budge on a leash anywhere new) and as soon as the vet tech walked into the waiting room, Cayenne crapped and peed all over me.

Is this what motherhood feels like?

(And yep, she's registered for dog classes, but they don't start until late May.) I've contacted some dog professionals whom the vet recommended, but I have to get through these exams.
