You will graduate, it's just a slightly different path. Seriously, one of the graduate students working for us seems to fail comps every year, and they've all gone on to pass and get jobs and learn the secret librarian handshake.

To go upthread a bit:
The really interesting part of the morning came when I was on my way to the dealer and driving through a school zone near my house-- woman behind me was putting on mascara, while driving, through the school zone. Mind-boggling what some people think is okay to do while driving.
Over the weekend, a woman was painting her fingernails while driving, failed to break, and killed a motorcyclist when she was thrown off her bike.
