Bah, the pill pockets do not work with Marley!

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
The Strange Buildings are pretty delightful. It's great that people can figure out how to build such wacky looking structures.
One person (not DW) got laid off. Sad, but could have been worse.
My MiL has a completely insane Maine Coon. She attacks without provocation. Terrible animal.
Okay, there is a Baskin Robins commercial that starts with a child saying, "Don't be so vanilla!" So. Wrong.
Glad it wasn't worse, Glam. Those meetings are rough even when they are relatively benign.
whee, relief , GC. I remember the story about your MIL's cat. But didn't she get that cat without meeting it? Not a good way. Plus -- it seems they need attention and people around
She did get the cat without meeting it. She is home with the cat most days, all day. That animal just has a screw loose. I like my mutt cats - they never attack me.
Most of the ones on the rescue site are mutts. They are just guessing by characteristics. But your MIL's experience and a few others -- means I want to spend a littl e time with a cat before adopting. I don't need any heartbreak
I know nothing about cats.
I've got an appointment with my rheumatologist next week. I really need to convince her that I need better pain management -- what I'm doing now is not enough.
Amon has been a joy. I've had him about a year, and he's a snuggle puss. He almost always sleeps between Hubby and me, and he'll come up and tap me firmly on the arm when I'm on the computer and he wants attention. The mornings are amusing, because I'll roll out of bed and head to the bathroom, and he'll stumble along with me and sit there yawning as I do various human stuff. I'm very glad I went with the cat who patted my hand as I was perusing the cats at the shelter.
