Well, I met with my advisor today. The first thing he asked was whether the email was too negative, because he meant it to be motivational. Whatever.
Mostly good stuff came out of this meeting. A lot of plans for research during the summer.
He wants to meet twice a week during the summer, and since he's got his daughter on certain days, he wants to meet at the math department once a week and in Bethesda once a week. It'll take me about half an hour to 45 minutes to get to Bethesda. Ew. When I seemed not too enthusiastic about this, he reminded me that another professor didn't even ask his students, just told them to meet him in Bethesda a few times a week. (He's right. And I'll do it. I'm not happy about it, but I'll do it.)
I want to go to synagogue tonight, to say a prayer for my friend's mother, but it's raining and my umbrella is broken. I'll wait and see if the rain lets up.

Ordered the swimsuit, and some socks (it's Hanes, ya gotta get socks!), and a pair of shorts for hanging around the apartment (they were only $10). Looking forward to seeing how the swimsuit fits!

so far I have been to the coffee shop , gone to grocery store, and fantasy shopped for corsets, plane flights, and hotel rooms. There really is more I should accomplish
