Spike: We got a history, him and me. Fred: What? Spike: It was a long time ago. He was a young Watcher, fresh out of the academy when we crossed paths. It was a, what-you-call battle of wills and blood was spilled. Vendettas were sworn. It was a whole-- Fred: My God you're so full of crap. Spike: Yeah. Okay.

YAY babytea!!!

My laptop is driving me crazy. I dropped it last year so I've been having issues. One of the first issues to come up was the wireless wouldn't work. Didn't matter where I went, I could get a signal for about 5 minutes tops and then it would crap out.

I thought that was fixed by using a Ethernet cable. Then that stopped working. So I got a wireless usb adapater thing.

And then that stopped working. So screw this I say, I'll just get a new computer. But then SLNRLBF said he could upgrade my desktop. I pulled that out and had been using it. But I need a new mouse, so I get that.

All this was on the kitchen table so I moved the desktop back in the study, set it up. Installed everything I needed to. Fought to get a signal. I'm on Skype with SLNRLBF and hear the bip bips from Skype in the other room.

From my laptop.

The one where the wireless stopped working.

So far it's holding.

I...I just don't understand computer they are beyond my ken and I swear I'm cursed.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Skye, computers, like hair, are there to make us have temper tantrums.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

The mother of one of my friends, a woman I've known since I was five, just died.

Cancer sucks.

I haven't seen her in a while, but it's still hit me pretty hard. Still kind of processing.

{{{Hil and Hil's friend}}} I'm so sorry. Cancer does indeed suck!

Sorry Hil.

Thrive to spite them

The laptop started having issues again.

But, on windsparrow's wonderful advice I changed the food I'm giving my cats from Hill's to Natural Balance. I'm already seeing a difference.

She just got sick really recently. First went to a doctor about this at the end of February, and they didn't think it was cancer until a few weeks later.

I want to contact my friend to send my condolences, but I don't have a current email address or telephone number for him, and he's not on facebook or anything. I do have a way to contact his older sister, but that seems awkward.

I am so sorry.
