Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm under no illusions that the show ever didn't suck

Okay, cool. I was watching for the Ackles and the Weatherly, so maybe I'll pick it up again when Jensen appears for the first time.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

The episode with the family wedding in S1 is worth watching! It has Mary Winchester!

And later on in the run, Demon!Meg shows up! And Sock from Reaper!

Oh, and CKR, because it's not Canadian Actor Bingo without him!

Because books.

I was watching for the Ackles and the Weatherly

I watch pretty strictly for the Ackles, and S2 is really pretty enjoyable. S1, not so much for me.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Back home. Looks like it'll be a while yet, later today or tomorrow. Wallybee is in good spirits and baby is doing well, and obviously very comfortable where he is.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Try not to hold it against the little mammal for making you wait even longer.

No, it's good, it means that when he starts asking to borrow the car for the weekend we have a conversation starter while we work out the rest of the answer.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Ugh. It is way too hot to sleep in my apartment. I'm pretty sure it's at least 85 degrees in here. I've got a window open, but it's 78 outside, so that doesn't help too much. Also a fan on.

I have no idea why this building retains heat like this. I almost never had to actually turn my heat on in the winter, because the building was so warm already.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Looking forward to the Teas' kid.

Though, right now, I think that "you were born on Israel's 61st Independence Day" is kind of a cool trivia item.

Morning (early morning, God dammit). I'm up, henna's washed, waiting to see the results once my hair will dry up. Evil statistics are ahead of me, and luckily, no sharp object to stab myself with around. Headache's also here. Party! I kindda like the smell of washed hair after henna. It's not too strong. But for my roommates' sake, I keep the window open.

I'm planning to try henna again sometime soon. Maybe this weekend. It just seems like a whole lot of work for not much actual change in hair color. (My hair is very dark brown, nearly black. The henna really just makes it very slightly more reddish. Last time I tried it, one friend said that she could see a difference, but another friend said it looked exactly the same. The only definite difference that I saw was that I've got a few grey hairs, and they turned gold.)

Same here, Hil, with my black hair.

I like to think of it, after henna, as black hair with a red shade.
