Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

that was a lovely story, Teppy.

Somehow I gained five pounds and my measurements haven't changed. wtf body? Last weigh-in where I'd gained weight instead of lost was around this time of the month. Is this what they mean by water weight gain?

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

That really is a beautiful story, Teppy.

RIP Bea Arthur. The Golden Girls was one of my favorite shows as a kid.

omnis, are you watching the game? It's quite a nail biter with the back and forth of the score.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

There's a commercial playing on the radio telling people to take steps to prevent car theft. The step they're highlighting is don't leave your keys in the ignition of a parked car. This is a serious enough problem that the state of Maryland has put money into making radio commercials about it?

Sorry sj. Working. I got home for dinner break & couldn't find the game anywhere.

Steph, beautiful story.

The new mics sound good. Too bad the audience is dead quiet.

Ok, I have to admit, the blooming plants and trees out here are GORGEOUS. But, damn, I do wish they'd go get a room for their sex. My allergies are gonna kill me.
