I wouldn't recommend having all four wisdom teeth out at one time with local anesthetic, though. I had two at one time and decided to have the last two out one at a time.
I considered getting two out now and two out next year to save money, but I've already waited so long to get them out. It would have been better to do two last year (when my dentist first told me to get them out) and two this year. I don't know what they'll be like a year from now. I'd like to save a lot of money, but I'd also like to only go through this once.
Askye, we had an issue with that just this past week or so. We scooped up a specimen and dropped it off at the vet so they could analyze it, and sure enough, one of them has parasites. They are both getting the anti-parasite meds though. (we suspect it's Marley, but we couldn't catch one of them leaving the offending poo.)
Is this the last paper, Nora?
YES IT IS!
askye, that has got to be frustrating and heartbreaking. Is there a specialty vet hospital you might be able to take him to? When we've done this for Sass to get second opinions, they've all been well worth the price of the office visit because we were given better treatment options and the problem was solved. (IIRC, the price difference between an office visit at the vet vs. at the specialist was about $30).
Also, your vet really shouldn't be charging you for repeat office visits to treat a problem they haven't solved, although I do know that medicine and lab tests can add up!
Not getting the teeth out is a false economy. Inflammation is bad for your health, yo.
I had all four pulled with local. They were complex, but it wasn't that bad.
I am watching John Stewart on one monitor while posting on this one. I rule!

Of course, one day when you were bored you gave yourself a tattoo...
The tattoo took about six months, all told. The initial dotted outline was one night.
