You'd never make it. I'd rip your spine out before you got half a step. Those little legs wouldn't be much good without one of those.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

I heart Tom's One True Bag like a madly hearting thing that hearts.

That is all.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Polter-Cow, do you have to have general anaesthesia for the wisdom tooth surgery for a particular reason? Cuz, yeah, dental insurance is murder on the wallet when it comes to general anaesthesia. But a local anaesthetic plus nitrous oxide is typically on a much more affordable co-pay - and may well do the trick. That's what I had when my abscessed wisdom tooth got taken out. I won't say it wasn't weird to be able to hear the work going on, but it didn't bother me at all, due to the fun of the nitrous oxide. There was certainly no pain. Whoa, good trip. I not only recommend it, but also am kinda looking forward to the next wisdom tooth extraction (Dentist says I've got one that will eventually have to come out, but not yet).

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

One of them is impacting sideways. I have a feeling I don't want to be awake for that one; I don't even know how it's physically possible to get it out.

I'm thinking of just sucking it up and selling some stock to cover the cost. That's what that stuff is for, anyway; I haven't sold much since I didn't really need the money. Now I could use a few hundred bucks!

General anaesthesia? Can't you have conscious sedation (I think that's what it's called?)? That's the awesomest--technically you're awake, but you don't REMEMBER being awake. They put an IV in my arm, said "count backwards" and the next thing I remember, they were like "your friend (Vortex, actually!) is here waiting!", but it's not as risky/expensive/whatever as general (they did it at the oral surgeon's office--I wasn't in a hospital or anything)

That sounds like a pretty good deal! I'll see if I can do that instead.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

That's exactly what I had - right down to the "count backwards...hey, your dad's here."
