Ow. The past few days, my back's been hurting some, and now it's really hurting. I have no idea what brought this on. Just took two Tylenol and three Aleve, which usually is enough to let me get to sleep.
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Good luck feeling better and getting sleep, Hil. You too, sj.
Man, Hilary Clinton is on fire today:
"It won't surprise you that I don't consider him a particularly reliable source."—Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, on former Vice-President Dick Cheney and his criticisms of the current administration, as she gave testimony before the House Committee on Foreign Affairs.
And this, giving the smackdown on the whole "oh noes Venezuela will now enslave us all" hysteria going on over Chavez:
Sometimes I just like her so much. Well, mostly that's the case. But every so often I'm reminded why.
Thanks, WS. The meds seem to be doing not much. I tried a heating pad, which helps a little. I've got a bunch of stuff I need to do tomorrow, but the pain has mostly been getting worse at night and bearable during the day, so I'm hoping that keeps up.
Clinton en fuego!
Thanks for the link to Hillary being awesome! Love it.
My elbow just cracked. That's new.
Stupid body.
Dick Cheney is an entirely reliable source...on How To Be an Evil Fuckwad.
Hate cilantro and anything licorice-like. Love mint, love broccoli, dislike lima beans (texture). Dislike garbanzo beans but love hummus. Love white wine and certain whiskeys more than Scotch. Dislike green peppers, but like the other colors.
Certain seafoods make me gag, but I love oysters.
There's pretty much no vegetable or fruit that I dislike. I even love brussel sprouts and turnips. Other than the part where I don't eat anything that walked, I'm not very picky beyond wanting things as fresh as possible.
Lately, I've been wondering if the Big Cats are as into catnip as the little ones.
But maybe it doesn't grow where there are lions and tigers.
On the other hand, it certainly grows in North America and there are pumas and jaguars (well in parts of NA).
Anyone know the answer to that?
(I love peppermint and wintergreen and used to hate spearmint but lately have started liking that too. Also: pro-cilantro.)
