Actually, Barb, I think that color would work with gold and black, if I'm remembering the corset correctly.
'Dirty Girls'
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Vampire Bunny Ple has drained Shrift to the lees
But lo, Shrift rises again in her new Bunny form.

Is it possible to exhibit sangfroid in bunny ears? Emily proves it is

The ears seem to distill the essence of the person.

I still HAVE that Spider-Man on my computer monitor at work! Oh yes.
I really think you could wear that with that J. Peterman skirt. Unless the color of the skirt has more red than the picture shows, I think the gold would work really well.
The Boy just made cinnamon-bread French toast, so I have to go eat it ALL.
Nom nom nom.
Now ask me if I'm talking about The Boy's french toast, or about Barb in that corset.
My CSer brought me coffee. From Starbucks.
She'll never know how much that means. I was trying not to jump up and down while giggling "this is the place all of my e-friends are talking about! It's really from there! It IS a small world!".
Not crazy.
I'm enamored of the Trosky's ashes story but I think if there was any truth to it it would have been reported in the news media.
My favorite donut-based donuts, in no particular order, but off the top of my head, subject to later revision, and now mostly in the past due to Diabetes:
- Custard filled, chocolate frosted Jelly Donut type, sometimes called "Bavarian creme" filled.
- French crullers, but only those done right, where it's a light pastry-type, and preferably dipped in a rim of chocolate icing, but I'd eat 'em plain or with white icing.
- I had a custard-filled french cruller once.
- Maple-iced bavarian-filled long johns. Sometimes with nuts sprinkled on top.
- A properly-made Eclair.
- A properly-made Apple Fritter, where the apples and cinnamon create a flavor explosion in your mouth.
- A properly made raised donut of the type called "Old Fashioned" where the dough bursts apart on the top and if they put enough nutmeg and spices in the batter
The chocolate filled one Andi was talking about sounds good...
