You got fired, and you still hang around here like a big loser. Why can't he?

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

What's for dinner?

What's for dinner?

::waits for answer to this question, because I don't have one::

We were going to stop at a pizza place that has outdoor seating and lets the dog sit with us, but we were earlier than expected and not hungry. We'd been to the vet with the pup, who seems to have torn a ligament and is now supposed to be on strict rest for the next two weeks. It's going to be hell for her. And us.

Our wings are not tired

Shiny new blog, Drew. I can't wait to see what you do with it.

Thanks. It's something that's been slowly percolating in my brain for quite a while now and it just feels like I'm ready to run with it. I'm aware that I'm possibly opening up a can or worms if it takes off and a conservative group gets their hands on it, but right now I'm just happy to be starting with it.

“Not dead yet!”

I think it's a wonderful premise, Drew, and that you'll bring a really thoughtful, reasoned approach to it.

Yay new blog!

Our wings are not tired.

I'm having pizza at my favorite pizza joint with my favorite DH. The boys are both off doing stuff with friends. Although I did not chose to join my Jewish friends with the dietary restrictions due to the whole not being Jewish thing, the pizza will likely be as tasty.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'm going to have shrimp pizza at Jupiter. It sounds crazy.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

If Hil isn't going to let him know that this kind of talk bothers her, she can't blame him for not knowing that. If she tells him it makes her uncomfortable and he STILL does it, then she should take further action.

Yeah, I know. My plan now is, first, take a week to see if he gets the point if I just ignore or find reasons to not answer. (AKA, the coward way.) If that doesn't work, then I'm going to talk to him the next time he says something. If that still doesn't work, then I'm not sure.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

God plan, Hil. This interpersonal shit is hard--and I say that as an HR person who does this sort of stuff for living.
