Spike: Lots of fuss over one girl. Other things to do around here--important things. Angel: You know that whoosh thing you do when you're suddenly not there anymore? I love that.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

“Not dead yet!”

I loved Simon's eyebrows going up by about note three.

Some curmudgeon on EW.com was saying he didn't get it-- that her voice wasn't any big deal. Wanker. Her voice is untrained, sure, and no doubt she was nervous as hell (I know I would've been!) but it's definitely the real deal.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I was waiting for the judges to say, "Ok, everybody else can just go home. This is it."

Yeah, that's not how those shows work, but still...

“Not dead yet!”

I was waiting for the judges to say, "Ok, everybody else can just go home. This is it."

Heh-- funny you should say that. I was just watching a clip from CBS This Morning that aired today where they interviewed Piers Morgan and Amanda Holden, the Two Judges Who Aren't Simon, and they both said there were some interesting acts coming up in the next few weeks, because at this point, they know who the forty finalists are going to be.

They said something about a guy who came out dressed up as Darth Vader and did a Michael Jackson moonwalk.

Yeah.

I think Susan's got it, if she doesn't choke.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

“Not dead yet!”

Okay, can this possibly be for real?

The Mid America CropLife Association (MACA) has a bone to pick with Michelle Obama.

MACA represents chemical companies that produce pesticides, and they are angry that - wait for it - Michelle Obama isn't using chemicals in her organic garden at the White House.

We are not making this up.

In an email they forwarded to their supporters, a MACA spokesman wrote, "While a garden is a great idea, the thought of it being organic made [us] shudder." MACA went on to publish a letter it had sent to the First Lady asking her to consider using chemicals -- or what they call "crop protection products" -- in her garden.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Clearly MACA is delusional. If I used their products somehow, I'd boycott them.

Susan won't choke.
As long as she doesn't keep doing that cha cha cha dance routine, and sings like an angel, she'll be fine.

Today, it's very dark outside. A storm is a brewin'. I hope it's not a premonition of what my day at work will be like. No, I'm not wearing the Urban Sniper hat.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hey, does anyone have any Mary Kay Product recs? It would be politically advantageous for me to buy some, because the IT person here sells it.

The status is NOT quo.

Perkins, their timewise skin care products are really good. They're a bit expensive, but I noticed a real change in my skin using the cleanser, toner, moisturizer each night. Here's the web page: [link]

(One of my good friends sells Mary Kay, so I tried them for her and ended up really liking them.)
