Happy Birthday, ND!
((Askye))
Daniel, I would think your best approach would be simple honesty. If there's a problem, explain the conversation to which you were responding and let them know that you had no knowledge of any other conversation happening.
What Steph said, Beth. The main thing to avoid is little seeds or grains, because they can get stuck in the socket. (Why do I have so much bitter personal experience? Why?) Things like ice cream can be soothing. Most things are fine if he chews on the other side, but I ended up avoiding things that require a lot of chewing, because it seemed to take at least twice as long to eat them while chewing on one side. I ate a lot of soup, yogurt, peanut butter and grilled cheese.
Happy Birthday to my love!
grilled cheese.
Oh! I forgot grilled cheese! Yes -- food of the GODS for a tooth-extract-y person!
erin_o, I'm really glad it is just a regular UTI for Mal.
Happy Birthday, Drew!
Happy birthday, ND!
Hoping for a good recovery for Matt.
I have nothing to contribute for Daniel's work situation, being in a bit of a mess myself.
And Andi, we here know you for the lovely, caring, woman you are. Try to remember that we think you're beautiful.

Personally, I think it's food of the GODS, period. Especially with tomato soup.
Sparky, thanks for your input. That's the approach he has decided on.

Not that there is any thing wrong with Velveeta and Campbell's, but for my money, cheddar cheese and homemade cream of tomato soup kick the sublimity up a notch.

Sniff. Damn allergies.
Also, I have a purring cat wrapped up in a shawl, I'm listening to a track sent me by Deb G. and I'm sipping dark hot chocolate for breakfast. Hard to be feel bad about anything this way.
