Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

“Not dead yet!”

Y'all are utterly bent and twisted and your minds are very frightening places.

I love you guys.

I do like the idea of brainstorming names based on the thought the team might have moved from somewhere else. It makes for the kind of fun detail to throw into the story.

I'm also trying to go back to that whole "Athens of the South" thing, since that's where I figured the name Tennessee Titans came from.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

There is loud road work going on right outside my apartment, although I probably shouldn't complain about it. Some of the roads are just awful around here.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Happy Birthday, Amy!

Happy Birthday, Annabel!

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Bah, I think I may have fucked up my Comp Exam big time. The formatting rules was contained to this bullet point:

The essays should follow the APA style and manuscript guidelines. (Legal material can be cited in the format acceptable for Professor Pullin’s classes.) APA guidelines include double-spacing between all lines of the manuscript, uniform margins of 1 inch at the top, bottom, right, and left of every page, numbered pages and no more than 25 lines of text on an 8 1/2 X11 inch page. Indicate the question number before each essay.

I didn't know if I needed to cite and do a bibliography or not...

I emailed the person who was listed to direct questions to, and I didn't get a response from him till just now (an hour after the exams were due)

I ended up not using citations or submitting a bibliography because it was throwing off my word count like whoa, and upon careful parsing I figured that probably I didn't need to.

So I got this response:

Do not worry about the citation format for the exam. If you are writing a paper or a dissertation, it is important for proper citations. As long as you identify sources, you are OK.

I did NOT IDENTIFY SOURCES. Ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
