Hey, preaching to the choir. I thought our Lady of the Perpetual Sea Breeze was the real deal until the Divine Miss J walked right through that door and right into my ass—which is where my heart is…physiologically. I could show you an x-ray.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

She boughts tickets and made plans to go out of town based on the email from the consultant. She never bothered to confirm with, oh, I don't know, HER BOSS until today.
Too funny you bring this up today. Part of early morning meeting today talked about the move to the new theater. They gave the dates of the move, and said, point blank, a) it is over the weekend, and you might be needing to come in on a Saturday and/or Sunday. b) You can *not* take any vacation at that time. c) Friday, you will turn in all keys, and door codes will be erased, so don't leave anything behind.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

My mom called with an update. His kidneys are failing, and he's on dialysis. He may have had a heart attack as well. He sounds like one of the patients I've written about. With MULTI-ORGAN FAILURE (CTC GRADE 5).

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

All of my doctor's have my biopsy results. None of them will tell me what the results are.

I hate that. I think it should be up to the patient whether he hears by phone, e-mail or in person. I'd rather know before I go into the doctor's office, so I can have questions to ask. I also get irritated with the damn ultrasound people. who are reading the ultrasound right there, but won't tell you anything.

It certainly doesn't necessarily mean bad news. You already knew it was complicated news, and a lot of doctors like to explain all that, even if it's just that you'll be taking thyroid pills.
