Though, the whole experience makes us twitchy about the healthcare debate. Particularly when the conversation comes around to whether or not to cover girly bits. Had I needed a DNC, I'd like to think a public option would pay for it.

Hillary, I'm really sorry you are having this problem. It is obvious to me that your problem is not lack of academic skills. You have an asshat adviser, and don't have sufficient asshat management skills. Can't give you advice, cause my skills in dealing with asshats are limited to smiting or walking away. And since I know changing advisers this late in the game is nearly impossible neither of those apply. But I can define the problem, and it is not you but your adviser. And there are probably ways to deal with this, and I hope someone on with the right kind of experience can make practical suggestions.
