I got a seriously purple boob from the one major crash I've ever been in.
Weirdest bruise I had... It's healed really well but the right one was purple for a bit after. Wasn't a flattering shade, either.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And you didn't take pictures?!?!?!
It wasn't flattering, why would I take pictures? If I have learned nothing from the Lady of the Manners, it's ... no, that's not right.
Hey ita, I've almost got Emmett talked into Krav Maga as his non-baseball Fall activity. What's it like in beginners? How much conditioning vs. sparring?
How much conditioning vs. sparring?
If he's doing "our" (Krav Maga Association of America Inc) krav, there's not much sparring to start off with--it doesn't become mandatory until green belt. Condition from the git go, for sure, though. Whew. Man, do I miss muscle tone.

I'm pretty sure it's your group. I don't think he'd want to do the conditioning without some fighting though. But you must do blocks and striking early on, just not while sparring?
On the one and only day I went to krav, we did head butts, but I think the instructor was just showing off for ita.
In case anyone was wondering, i'm heading out of town tomorrow morning for a little over a week, might have some net access but not much. *waves*

The regular classes build the reflexes for the fighting, so you have to take those and ingrain them first.
But you must do blocks and striking early on, just not while sparring?
Yup. That's the order of things.
Safe travels, erin_o.
