Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My muscles are sore from chasing around a 1 year old all day who just learned how to climb stairs yesterday. I'm going to consider it a workout. I'm sore, but in a it is completely worth it kind of way.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

sj, that sounds like the best kind of sore I can think of.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

We helped someone move yesterday . Way too much stuff for 1 person ( no I am serious. about 100 stringed instruments) Sore.

And today a friend came over and took away our green waste. which meant finishing a corner of the garden destruction.

which somehow led to fixing the screen door.

At least there was a burger in there

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

ugg. Forgot I did "pushups" while riding the bike. That, and the high level you have to hold on to get heart rate. Ya, arms are tired too. Where is my Cabana Girl?

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

And on the opposite end of the spectrum from cabana boy....one of my co-workers ex-stepfather (no, really) who is a local police ofcr sent me an email on our totally public dispatch-mail system asking if i am single and would like to go out for coffee. After, apparently, questioning his ex-stepdaughter about me. All seems to be based on my voice and newness to the job. Oh yeah, i am so the new freshman.

Just in case anyone is wondering, i deleted the msg without responding to it. I prefer to, you know, meet a coworkers ex stepfather before going out on a date with him. *sigh*

not your mom's socks.

Should be Darwin-award material, except there's no death-by-crushing.

unless death-by-crushing-stupidity counts: [link]

Erin, that is beyond inappropriate. Good for you for ignoring him.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay Sean! Yay Jars! Job~ma all round. Cabana girls and/or boys for the productive ones.

Erin, wow, I have no words.

I hope that Aims and MM had a lovely anniversary.

I finally tried out DDR today with my nephew and his wife. I didn't completely suck. Also I did the Wii bowling for the first time and got 196 so that was rockin'. Nice to have a day that I didn't work all day. Might try a bit of this recreation thing again tomorrow.
