Congrats Jars!
Good luck, Nora. Good for you for applying.
There's a hotel opening up on the waterfront in September and I have half-decided to try to get a job there when the hiring starts. I am already nervous about explaining my long stretch of not working and zero actual experience to go with my not-so-shiny-anymore degree, not to mention the problem of looking professional, but dang it would be nice to walk to work and entry-level on the day it opens seems like a pretty good position to be in, if I can get it.
Best of luck with applications Nora and -t. My jobma's back on the loose now...
Yay Jars!
And lotsa ~ma for you, Nora! May everyone wind up happy!
I'm also going to request job ~ma again for Lewis-- he's applied for a job with a company he'd really, really love to be with and a friend had lunch with the CEO and also passed Lewis' resume on to him directly, so... *crossing fingers and hoping*
Sounds promising, Barb. Good luck to Lewis!
Jars - London! Wherever you're moving from, you'll have a blast.
Good job application vibes, Nora.
Connie, I'm really sorry for your loss.
I'm watching a truly dreadful movie on skiffy about "Thor", i recently realized that Thor is played by the kid who played the oldest son on Home Improvement. It's
dreadful.
I mean, not that I expected it not to be. But it's really terrible.
Yay, Sean!
Congrats, Jars!
Good luck and ~ma to Nora and to Barb's DH.
So sorry for your loss, Connie.
There's a pizza place about 5 minutes away from my parents that has really good vegan pizza! This is so my new favorite takeout when I'm visiting. My dad and I each got individual pizzas, with similar toppings except for the vegan cheese on mine, and he took a slice of mine by accident and didn't realize until I noticed that my pizza box was missing a slice when he was nearly done eating the slice.
yay Jars !!!
job-ma ~~~~~ lewis, -t, and Nora
