Sweet lumpy minion, you're the only one that understands. Probably 'cause I haven't sucked the brain out of you yet.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

I like rosemary with potatoes. Toss chunks of potato with olive oil, lemon, rosemary, garlic and bake for a long time. Yum.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Sorry to hear about job hell for two Buffistas I would be THRILLED to be lucky enough to work with.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I second the potato and rosemary combo, add some onions and eggs and you have a nice fritatta.

I so am deeply weird.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

What makes a frittata different from an omelet?

Our wings are not tired.

Oh, I can do that. There will be both cajoling and bullying involved.

Everything I have ever tried was a complete fail. To make matters worse they have figured out that when they completely screw up a class all they have to do is spend a couple days at the end of the year and test out to a new shiny grade. Florida wants to show the world how much they have improved scores so they make it very easy to get good grades.

To repeat my rant from earlier this summer, Brendon failed a couple classes because he didn't bother to do any work all year. He made up both classes and replaced his grades with As in 3 DAYS! Way to teach the kid a lesson, school board.

Bobby was failing a couple classes for lack of doing his assignments so I enrolled him in virtual school to redo them before school starts mid month. 3 months later he is only half way through one class and a quarter through another. He will still start HS without penalty because he passed his FCAT exams with flying colors.

Both my boys have bright futures ahead in taking standardized tests. My only weapon I have at this point is Bobby will want to get his driver's permit later this month and Brendon would like to get his license. Bribery is the only thing I have that has a chance of working.

Also, parenting sucks.

“Not dead yet!”

A frittata is more pie-like and doesn't get folded over. The fillings are cooked throughout and it can be finished off in the oven.

Not that we make them here...shameful lack of culinary in this family. But some chick in a movie made one recently and I thought "Those are omelet things,"

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Rosemary's really good with squash or zucchini too.

For me an omelet is egg with stuff in it, while a fritatta is the stuff with the egg there to just hold it all together, but also what Barb said.
