I like the plant idea. Everybody could probably use a pot of parsley.
Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Go for the plant, sj. I have had to put basic glass vases in recycling because I just don't have the space for them (I have 3 vases in my office right now from flowers people gave to me when I came back to work!)
K, plant it is. Thanks for the advice, everyone! Now, I just need to find the motivation to get my ass out of the house.
ION: the low was 72 last night.
Normally, that's the *high*.
Suddenly not missing the weather in Seattle.
Though it wasn't THAT much cooler here last night, the daytime highs have been nowhere near as bad.
I could do without the drinkable air, however.
Here in Chicago we've had the coolest July in more than 50 years. Weird.
Blergh, I just spent over $12 on a very unsatisfying lunch. I hate that!
Oh Nora... more crapdoodle. So not fair. You can come to my house.
ION, conversations you never expect to hear in your house:
Abby: "Dad, the Emperor has ordered me to kill my liege and I don't know if I should do it!"
L: "Well, what's in it for you?"
drops quietly & unseen into the thread. Places one card out that says 'Sparky sprog is cute & i need to visit naooowww.' Another that says 'Cate Blanchett at the Kenedy Center October 29-Nov 21 in Streetcar [link] Makes like a mime being dragged off stage-left (supposed to be out walking, really. that's right where i'm headed.)
eta because obviously in such a rush to go exercise i can neither type nor think.

Where was that, so I can avoid the place. Or was it just what you got?
Or was it just what you got?
Boiled pig head glazed in circus peanuts?
