Laying brick looks like a pay someone else job to me.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I think it makes sense this time. We've made a floor from a tree and put down a slate floor. That's lots of new stuff in the last year. And It would be very nice to hae this done by the end of August. ( The last weekend in august is the antique festival -- and 100s of tag sale throughout the neighborhood)
Had a very productive cooking day. I took the pig's head from the pig roast that I went to, and made a nice stock with the head, carrots, celery, onion, parsley, garlic and bay leaves. I stripped the skin off of the bones, and then fried it until crispy (to use as a crunchy garnish for the soup. I took that out, then strained the stock and then put more onions carrots and celery in the pot with the stock and the split peas.
I made rolls, used the dough hook on the kitchenaid for the first time. It made a lovely silky dough that rose nice and poofily.
I was going to stain my dining room chairs, but decided I was being productive enough making baked french toast, stock, soup and bread.
You have been way more productive than me. But I have a swordfish steak marinating in basil and mint and some sweet corn from the farmers' market ready to go on the grill so I'm not as jealous as I might normally be.
You make pig head soup sound delicious.
We are slounging and people-watching in the hotel lobby. This weekend has felt both never-ending and terrifyingly fast. Going back home tomorrow is going to be difficult.

We got sausages from Whole Foods and I sauteed them and then scrambled some eggs and gruyere cheese in the drippings.
Breakfast as dinner is one of my favorite meals.

I frequently make bicuits -n- (vegetarian) gravy for dinner. Nary a vegetable to be seen, but oh so yummy.
I had yogurt for lunch and ordered in a pizza for dinner! Yay.
Am I the only one here who doesn't cook?
