We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know...insane.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Signed, dated a complete asshole because the sex was fantastic.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Uh, Steph, have you looked at the Google logo today?

Whoa!

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

so many tabs of things to respond. Damn the torpedoes (and by that, I mean, work can wait 10 minutes).

first off, while she said that about George Carlin, and it's not a lie, it's not a flag, I was just adding it for a little comic relief.

Yes, I can date folks who have differing political opinions. But, as was observed, she doesn't seem to *debate*. I brought up one point about health care, and she spewed out some statistical mumbo jumbo that just didn't seem to make sense (i.e., I said if we have more people on a plan, in theory it should lower rates, she said it would RAISE them because you are adding folks who smoke, who have diabetes, who sit in the sun and get skin cancer, etc. I countered, yes, but you are also adding folks who are in good health, and she pashawed it. I could be wrong, but her flippant dismissal irked me.)

How old is she/how long has she been out of college? Because I did some *seriously* stupid shit in college that I'm not proud of now, and if that disqualified me as a potential long-term partner, I'd be living in a cave right now.
She is 2-3 years OLDER than me, pushing 40. She was telling the story with bravado. a "Ha, look what I did". She also told a story when she did financial audits for the mega apartment complex I live in. Apparently they had the affluent neighboring communities borders extended to enclose the new development, so that the "median income level" of the area was high, and when a new resident met some federal guideline for housing assistance, would do the needed paperwork to collect that money from the gov't, but not lower the rent any because the tenant didn't know they qualified. She says it's perfectly legal. nothing on the books says it's wrong. I said, ya, but it's immoral, and someone should let that be known, so that loop hole can be closed. She said, why? Only folks who know about it are the company and their auditors. If it's legal, so be it. She also is opposed to a lot of the social stuff the gov't pays for, so, HELLO, blow the whistle and you can save the gov't some money!!

Do you think she'll respect your ethical and political and religious beliefs?
I don't think she does. I haven't let them out too much, just because I'm aghast at some of the things she says. She says her mother is a Blue Dog Democrat, and her father is "as red of a Republican as you can be without being black" (i guess she means SUPER dark red Republican? Not Alan Keyes Republican).

O_A, you're a cool guy with an interesting job. There must be a way for you to find the right person. Have you tried to find ways to meet the volunteers? Maybe you could offer to do some kind of behind-the-scenes tour.
First off, :: blush:: thanks! Secondly. HAHAHA! Oh my. Good one. Ya, all our volunteers. Um. How to say. Cougar material. Ya, if I was to date them, it'd be a Cougar scenario. Um. no thanks. Maybe their daughters.

I'd disagree with this. If you're not into her it's better not to lead her on. Although it's true that snogging is good!
Ya, I hate being led on. I'd hate to be the one leading someone on. Plus, it's not like I get any on a regular basis. I'm afraid my stupid brain would follow what Vortex said:
Signed, dated a complete asshole because the sex was fantastic

OK, I'm working now. Really I am.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Meant to post this here instead of Natter:

Annnd, someone I'm in a meeting with who I really like and respect just went on a long rant about healthcare and how the press is so scared to touch Obama yadda yadda. Feh.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Ok, I changed my mind. Omnis, you can do so much better than that. You're handsome, charming, and intellegent.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

O_a, trust your gut. that's a lot of flags. sounds like she'll be a great gaming buddy, but i'd be wary of any potential romantic attachments with that many flags.

I go to hell in a handbasket, or occasionally on I-40.
