Everybody dies, Tracey. Someone's carrying a bullet for you right now, doesn't even know it. The trick is to die of old age before it finds you.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

How is "lagh" pronounced "lee"? Come on now.

Seriously. That's the Gaelic pronunciation that you pick on? I swear they made up their pronunciation guide solely to screw with the English. Chinese Pinyin is easier.

Our wings are not tired.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Matilda is so cute!

Willie and John were great, waiting for Bob Dylan now!

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

but if the powers can point at my test and say, "That one managed to do okay", it takes the wind out of their complaint of the test being unreasonable. Which makes me feel a little guilty...

Um, or they could have paid attention and studied. You should feel no guilt for their inability to learn. Clearly it was covered or you'd remember the omission.

IJS

Yeah, i was also that person in class. And i did once point out a particular exam question that was covered in a chapter of the book we were not assigned to read (but i did, cuz it was interesting) but not in assigned reading or classroom discussion, and got a few brownie points with the rest of the class for getting them those two points back. Plus i got bonus points!

move out and draw fire

Speaking of, I excavated about ten tons of toddler boy toys last weekend. How's Dylan fixed for matchbox cars?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Oh, yeah, Sox, we'd love some of Iris' outgrown stuff!

I hope if I am ever blessed with a baby, there is still a bunch of b.org baby clothes to be spoiled with.

There seems to be a constant supply of sprog so far--Kalliope and Glambaby, etc. Even with all the stuff I've sent out, I STILL have baby and toddler clothes from both boys and girls I can send. I seem to be constantly finding stuff I haven't mailed out.

How is "lagh" pronounced "lee"? Come on now.

Siobhan = "Shi-vawn" Gaelic languages are not to be reasoned with.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

How's Dylan fixed for matchbox cars?

We're pretty well stocked for toys, but there are three boys under 2 in our building so nothing will go to waste!
