You're not gonna jokey-rhyme your way out of this one.

Our wings are not tired

I just spent a week on a conservative republican's nightmare cruise. A full cruise ship of GLBT families and their friends having an absolutely wonderful time.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I think, though, that you need to open your mind a bit.
Maybe she was looking at the mirror when she wrote this.

I am housesitting/catsitting for a (fellow geek) friend this week. She has way too many cool DVDs. I am supposed to be working on a dissertation. What's a girl to do?
House sitting for ND & Pix?? Can't be. Wrong continent. That was a great benefit of house sitting for them. TONS of awesome videos, and games. And 3 lovely cats. And a/c. It was a little slice of heaven in Southern California.
t missing my CA peeps

ION. Just in time for game night/date with GeekyGamerGirl, I HAVE FOUND MY DICE! Woot! :: happy dance ::

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I am feeling somewhat virtous today after doing a yoga DVD. Whose going to kick my ass next week to make me keep doing it?

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

But, at the risk of losing geek house points, I don't recall the Martian Manhunter.

He is my favorite! Especially in New Frontier.

I loved when Superman said "well, you know, with his abilities, he doesn't *have* to stay here if he doesn't want to" (paraphrase). That movie was good! Granted, my Justice League experience was pretty much limited to Super Friends, so, it was nice to see character depth, back story, and grit. Sometimes I want to shake my wee fist at my mom for blocking some awesome geek stuff from my childhood. But, I know most of it was stuff that did/would have cost a lot of cash, and we just didn't have it. Oh well. More things to discover as an adult, right?
