Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

GC, tons of -ma.

Poor Ollie. Quick healing to him.

(((Nora))). I hope something even better comes along soon.

move out and draw fire

I remember when that URL actually pointed at a Star Wars wiki

There's always Wookiepedia. Which has the excellent banners "I find your lack of sources disturbing." And really, the Wikipedia puzzle globe looks exactly like the second Death Star.

move out and draw fire

because it needs a separate post:

{{{Ollie and family}}}

That sucks, Nora. Hope you get a much better opportunity soon!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I'm sorry Nora.

And Aimee, vibes to Ollie.

I wrote something else, but then read your post in Beep Me and fear it sounds serious, so I will just offer my thoughts and healing to Ollie.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

P-C, $1500 is the lower limit on requirment to file a report with the DMV, so if the damage is just 900 you aren't required to file the report.

OMG, lusting after Neville. But yes, i predicted this long ago. He was clearly destined to grow up into HAWTness, mmmm, much like the aptly names Oliver Wood (i think that was the right name, the first year Griffindor Quiddich coach). Unlike most of the male principles who are growing up rather un-fanciable IMHO. Prolly best, really.

Oh man, ~ma and hugs for Teddy and Ollie and families. It's agonizing when they can't just TELL us what is wrong and how to make it all better.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

In slightly lighter news, this morning saw a call for animal abuse in progress: a man dragging a black cat down the sidewalk on a leash and harness.

My immediate response: "Well, how else do you get the cat outside??"

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

P-C, $1500 is the lower limit on requirment to file a report with the DMV, so if the damage is just 900 you aren't required to file the report.

erin, I'm going off of this page, which says:

When you have an accident, report it to DMV using the Report of Traffic Accident Occurring in California (SR 1) form. You or your insurance agent, broker, or legal representative must complete the SR 1 report and send it to the DMV within 10 days if someone is killed or injured (no matter how minor the injury) or property damage is over $750.

And then:

Every vehicle collision reported to DMV by law enforcement will show on your driving record unless the reporting officer says another person was at fault. Every vehicle collision reported by you or another party in the collision, will show on your record if:

* any vehicle involved has over $750 in damage, or

* anyone is injured or dies.

It does not matter who caused the vehicle collision. The law says DMV must keep this record.

Looks like $1500 is the minimum in Oregon. Not so in California! Because we're annoying like that.
