I love and adore the movies and have been known to ignore my child for hours while I watch them, but I have not the patience for the books. I've tried, and failed horribly.
I'm with you here. (And I've read some hefty tomes. Also, I enjoy *Hardy*.) It's all the walking that does me in. I was most amused at the movies' walking montages...

I read them all in high school , reread in collee, but my last try I only made it through the first two.
I really like the movies, except for the end. the Shire all fine was wrong. The whole point was the world was changing. And it was just sappy

Well, in just over 24 hours I'll be able to get my geek-on comparing the HPatHBP book to the HPatHBP movie.
