Ya, I have neck issues too. I like speed, just not the wind. Visual feedback is plenty for me.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
And it would actually be better to SAY, "I said a really shitty thing." And follow it up with, "That was wrong, and I apologize."
yeah. I'm sure he thought "hey, making fun of fat people is funny!" and then realized "oops, I didn't think about the fact that this internet person (who I've met) is part of the group I'm ridiculing"
There is a car commercial that keeps coming on that has your ringtone, Vortex. And I swear my head snaps towards the tv everytime I hear it start up. Then I smile. And I do mean it that way.
and you think about me pulling my phone out of my boob? ;)
I was going to be all subtle and shit and say it just made me think of hanging out in Seattle. You're the perv who had to go and mention magical musical boobs.
It was totally the magical musical boobs .
Happy birthday, Seska!
I am steadfastly avoiding all Torchwood talk until after I get the opportunity to see it, which won't be until next week.
More Smithsonian today. Back to American History and a second pass at Air and Space. Also did the non-Smithsonian National Art Museum, which we BARELY scraped the surface of, but that was very cool.
Tonight is most assuredly a quiet night in the hotel because we're all wiped and Lewis had a poor reaction to something he ate yesterday, so he's extra-wiped.
Tomorrow, the Zoo!
Happy Birthday, Seska!
Yeah, I like to have at least some black olives or avocado or something in my salad, as well as the greenery.
Wow, M is a schmuck.
Working my way through posts in a somewhat haphazard fashion-- Vortex, M is a shitheel for a) saying what he said in the first place and then b) using such a shitty, not to mention, transparent, excuse.
Yeah. "I didn't mean it that way" is actually "Fuck, I'm busted for saying a really shitty thing."
Yep-- totally with Tep on this one.
Happy birthday, Seska.
Fie on M (that particular M who has not the sense to apologize, not M's in general).
I like salads that are just lettuce and dressing. The dressing makes it salad! Well, maybe not. But people often make salads that are just lettuce and tomato and I don't eat the tomato, so.
I am intrigued by the Vibram FIve Finger things. Vibram know what they are doing. i'm going to have to ponder what I get out of going barefoot (which I do, often) and what I like in footwear and how thos things would fit my lifestyle. Hm.
Have fun gaming, omnis! I used to love Set, don't think I've played since high school. Can't say I ever loved dating, but it had some fun moments.
Most of my salads have a wide variety of items including fruit, nuts, olives, etc. Also, I've been known to be perfectly satisfied with a wedge of lettuce with only blue cheese dressing on it. I eat a salad almost every day so they vary.
My mom's salads do not always have dressing. I've seen her eat lettuce right out of the bag.
I do like salads that have more stuff in them (your spinach and strawberries and balsamic salad the other day sounded incredibly tasty, Hil), but I find them more hassle then they are worth to make, usually. Unless I am making them for company or to bring somewhere or something. For just me, or me and DH, lettuce and dressing is enough, but I do require dressing. I'll eat just plain lettuce (or, for that matter, chopped cabbage), but I wouldn't call that salad.
