When I pull the handle of Drew's massive wheeled duffel out, it is almost as tall as me. Very embarassing. Layers are good in Alaska, though...I keep reminding myself.
I think I have shown great restraint today, despite your insistence on feeding me straight lines.
I deserve a medal.
(sigh)
It's been Just Long Enough that I'm not going "AIEEE NO!" to the idea of dating again. I swore a YEAR would go by, though, before I made YET ANOTHER MISTAKE.
(grumble) Boys are stupid. Throw asteroids at their homeworlds.
(sigh)
I don't have a medal, but I do have flowers and a nice clean house! Also yummy leftover pasta with veggies and cheese in the fridge. Please help yourself to any and all leftovers. Dishes in dishwasher are clean too. Pets fed and medded.
StuntHusband, hugs and asteroids to you as needed.
PK: danke. I revert to kif-mode in these circumstances. "Ah, a threat - exterminate!"

Oh! Rotersand. That will brighten my mood.
Looking forward to seeing you on Saturday sweetie.
I just hope I don't embarass myself with this bag. It's not the weight so much as the height. I can't pick it up more than a few inches. And I know this is deeply comic to picture, but it is also deeply frustrating. I don't mind being short most of the time, but today it's annoying.
So I had the stuff to make guacamole and did so before it went bad. And then realized that I had no tortilla chips. However, I had flour tortillas, oil, and heat. So I made tortilla chips! They are nummy nummy tasty.
I have skipped and skimmed what appears to be the most remarkable conversation, featuring the reappearance of the asshooks. I love you people.
Anyhoo... am in D.C. Already hit the Castle and the Museum of Natural History and visited Rexy and his Fossilized Friends, as well as the Hope Diamond and assorted other sparklies. Have walked so much, I had ibuprofen for dinner.
Tonight is a quiet night, since we were up early for our flight. If I make it to 9PM, it'll be a miracle.
You'll be fine sweetie. All you need to do is get it to the airline check in. Nice thing about the cruise ship side is it comes right to the cabin. We can trade bags on the flights back.
Barb! Learn me how to make tortillas!!
