I may be love's bitch, but at least I'm man enough to admit it.

Spike ,'Sleeper'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Seriously, goodness

Every bit of your post was full of Yay!

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Bwah. Fragile again. Got a "letter of counciling" in my file for the next 2 yrs, plus enhanced observation, b/o the earlier fragility-inducing call. It never ends!!!!! Bronze lining is that apparently *everyone* involved in the call got the same letter, not just me. That's about 12 ppl btwn phones and dispatch. But still. Bwah.

“Not dead yet!”

I've been watching the Marlins/Giants series over the last couple of days and sighing mightily over pretty, pretty San Francisco. And since today is a day game, I get to see it in full, glorious Technicolor.

Miss the Bay Area SO much.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Come back!!!

I took a run this morning along Marina Boulevard, and then I rode my motorcycle through the Presidio (complete with a stop at the justly-named Inspiration Point [link] ). Both routes heavily feature the Bay, the GG Bridge and the northern side of the Marin Hills. Today is one of those days where I feel completely fucking blessed to be in this city, this awe-inspiring, jaw-droppingly, insanely beautiful (and just plain insane) city.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

Thanks , everyone.

And don't worry , erin. It should be in you file. Dispatch is front line work -- and needs that kind of care. Dh worked for a co that put 911 systems. I've met dispatchers. You have a job that is important -- and challenging.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

I can see

I was able to drive.

Did you drive to Lourdes?

Miss the Bay Area SO much.

Do you know, from 2001 to 2007, I managed to visit San Francisco every year? (I might have missed one year in there, but still, that's an impressive run.) I haven't been there in 2 years, and I really REALLY miss it.

Vacation is Vermont this summer, though. Gotta see the bro and drink some beer and take up residence and Ben & Jerry's.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I haven't been there in 2 years, and I really REALLY miss it.

I have not seen you since the SF2F! I do not approve.

Maybe The Boy and I can make it out for Folsom this year. (Despite my loathing of crowds.)
