"I'm a star!"
As the Reasons can confirm, I'm not a Big Fan of Small Children. But all the b.org kinder make me all "awwww!"-ish.
Please tell Matilda that she *is* a star; I've gotten the entire QA team at my place of work, as well as my Lord of the Rings Online kinship, to use "polar bear".
My brother and I have expanded the animal kingdom names. It's very handy around small children.
New picture of Emeline - hopefully ya'll can see it: [link]
Job~ma to Tom.
I don't think Matt the Bruins Fan hangs out here, but ~ma for his dad.
Vortex, car~ma for you.
No way is that Emeline. She's cute enough to be, but WAY too grown up.
OMG, Aimee, she looks so grown up- and she looks JUST LIKE YOU.
Good gravy, Aims! That photo of Em, she looks like a very short teenager. Also, looking more and more like you.
Just in case any further proof was needed that Matilda is truly a Buffista baby, it should be noted that the other night, when she was looking at pictures of herself and Lily and sobbing that she wanted her friend Lily, she was also sobbing (we were looking mostly at Prom pictures), "I want my party dress! I want to go to a party in my party dress!"
eta: Holy crap, Aims! She is totally (and beautifully) your Mini-Me!
She is so tall!! And grown up! And so freaking smart! The other day I was helping her spell some names to put on a picture she drew, but she wanted to add "go to" and I was busy and couldn't help her. So she sat there and said, "Go. Go. Guh. Guh." and wrote "g". And then "Go. Go. Ooooh." and wrote "o". and then did the same thing with "to". She sounded out words and spelled them right there in front of me for the first time. I about started crying.
I'm
about to start crying.
