We're in love. We're ... lovers. We're lesbian, gay-type lovers.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Does anyone know why SciFi channel changed to SyFy?

To annoy a large part of their audience?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

The only thing that kept me from walking up to David Howe and punching him in the crotch at upfronts was the open bar.

Now, see, in my case, the open bar would INCREASE the likeliness of violence against stupidity, but that's just how I roll.

“Not dead yet!”

Dear doG it is just insanely beautiful here.

So. Jealous. Seventeen years ago that Lewis and I went on that cruise and I'm still plotting ways to go back.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Kristin, lovely dress. And may things go well for your grandmother.

In other news, I'd love this if I could get into it. However, it struck me there might be a Buffista who could. Compliments of/to Erin of A Dress A Day.

And, for those of you heading to DC, the weather here has been remarkably pleasant for July. It's been in the 80s and comparatively non-humid. Of course, this is scheduled to change this weekend, but ....

move out and draw fire

Oh, another way to confuse young children is to tell them the moon is following them.

Oh, Mal figured that one out all on his own, back when he was 2. Which is to say, he noticed that the moon was following him...he didn't figure out why.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

The whole ADD pausing thing? Very much shows up a point my therapist once made, ages ago. She said the great thing about the ADD mind is that it sees all the possibilities - the challenge is to figure out how to narrow all those possibilities down to a more manageable number. I sometimes pause in the middle of a line of reasoning to re-examine some of the options, and that can derail my end of a conversation.

And that is why I never did well in improv classes. Too many choices!!!

Dear doG it is just insanely beautiful here.

My mother wishes me to reiterate this invitation to my Buffista friends: you make it up to Fairbanks, she will show you around and even take you sightseeing in a small plane, if you so desire. (libkitty, I'm sure she'd love to meet you, given the high probability of path intersection.)

Coding and Sleeping

That reminds me. I think I mentioned before about the freakiness of have the album cover of Fallen appear fully scaled up on a 37" display. I was playing music and a song off that album came up. I mentioned something about the eyes following you and the kids looked at the TV. Leif was mesmerized, Emaryn shrieked.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Why did a have a dream about cooking rice? It was a fairly detailed dream, in which the only thing I was doing was cooking rice.

Whoo-hoo!

OMG, I am so nervous/excited- Tom is in an interview at a place he interviewed at last year (it is near my work). They emailed him a couple weeks ago out of the blue, saying that a position came up they thought would be a good fit for him... they didn't even have a finalized job description yet! So... keeping fingers crossed... eeee!
