Hubby objects to me answering before he's done because he's getting uneasy about how well his mind is working, and he doesn't like any indication that he may not be functioning at full speed.
Unfortunately, he's not wrong about the acceleration on his brain having fallen off since I met him.
Still, I can occasionally catch him off guard with a witticism or bit of knowledge. And he often will use me as an encyclopedia. I may not be able to make the logical leaps, but my mental archives are a lot better indexed and more eclectic than his.
Late jumping on the wagon but GORGEOUS dress which our Kristin will rock indeed.
My "nephew" popped out a year and two weeks ago tomorrow, weighing in at over 12 lbs. His momma was, uh, not in a good state for a long while after. On the bright side, her active labor was only 3 hours....apparently that big they pop out faster than expected. She didn't have time to get an epidural.
Um. Does anyone know why SciFi channel changed to SyFy?
They wanted to seem cooler.
I assume just to annoy us.
oh, there was a whole thing about it. I believe that our general consensus was that it was crap, but whatever. i will call it SciFi until I die. or get lazy because SyFy has fewer letters.
I think we should refer to it as the Mansquito Channel.
They wanted more of an audience, so they figured they would add some non-sci-fi programming. Plus their executives are crack-addled wombats.
Mansquito Channel.
Or Anonymous Rex. That was a classic. Well, no. It was awful. But charmingly so.
I used to pronounce it Skiffy, but now I just look at it balefully. Perhaps it should be the Channel that Shall Not Be Named.
