"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I vote for whatever she likes best.

Well, she liked all of them at the time.

I like her current hair

It looked really good in that picture that I think Ple took of her in Seattle. But hair often looks great a week before it needs to be cut and then it reaches a tipping point and the old cut loses all structural integrity leading to hair chaos and potential highway disasters.

“Not dead yet!”

I need to figure out what to do with my hair for the RITA ceremony. I have everything figured out except for earrings and hair.

Our wings are not tired.

So many pretty pictures! I have to go with the Curly layered bob since that is the one that is the furthest away from what I could manage. Also, I like the tousled look. Why is it that those of us with straight hair envy the curls?

I am getting my hair cut in about an hour. In this remote location it is typical for the stylist to come to the house and she is coming to do Bobby and me. My hair is longer than it has been in years, but I want to color it again and that requires a shorter style. I have so little hair that there aren't any real options. There is one layer, the only variable is length. My decision is chin length or shoulder length. Bangs stay, forever.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

The curly layered would work well with the hair she has now.

After the F2F, when I was eating all kinds of yummy things, I'm now back on the straight and narrow (hoping to make myself a bit narrower). sigh ... it's no fun at all.

Yeah. The year and a half of stress eating that put me back to my starting weight has to be undone.

So I'm starting with a massive reduction in alcohol. One drink a week allowed. WOE!

Then I will cut back other things.

Sigh.

It looked really good in that picture that I think Ple took of her in Seattle.

I took no pictures this year. Except for camera phone ones.

It does need a bit of a trim for ease in shaping (I say, having helped JZ do her hair for Prom), although it's totally stylable with minimal product right now.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Will you drink it through a Red Vine?

As it is summer, aka wine season, alas, no!

But red wine through a Red Vine! Think of the Seussicality!

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

would vote for the short curly bob as it looks a little easier to style than the others for curly hair.

IOcatN, poor Mal. After five incidents of weeing on the bed, he is back at the vet today. He refused to give them a pee sample so he must stay there until his bladder is more full. Worst part: i scheduled at 9am on a weekday thinking it would be nice and quiet there, as he is does not at all enjoy the trauma of large barky animals in the waiting room. As soon as we sat down, in walked a woman with two very very large barky dogs. Like, pony-sized dogs. They took up the entire waiting area and kept trying to sniff Mal's carrier. I had my hand inside for comfort petting and the poor guy was shaking like a leaf. I was rude and loudly asked the desk dude if we could go into an empty exam room NOW whilst glaring at presumptive dogs and got my way. I am sorry to dog lady if i insulted your ill-mannered horse dogs, but they were scaring my little cat who has already spent too much time in the jaw of a similarly large dog.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I love all of JZ's haircutes. (Yes, I saw the typo, went to fix it and thought it was adorable, so left it.) I got mine cut yesterday and I'm loving it. I think my OTHairstyle is a short, a-line bob with side swept bangs. I like that when you tuck the longer front behind the ears, it's instantly a cute short haircut.
