Lydia: But you are a vampire. Spike: If I'm not, I'm gonna be pissed about drinking all that blood.

'Potential'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Went to the Rangers game with houseguest, a die hard BoSox fan. I was wearing my Yankees hat, she her Boston hat, and a tshirt that says "Yankees Suck". Security wouldn't let her in the park with the shirt on! We both thought she was joking. Nope. She escorted houseguest to nearest ladies room, and made her turn her shirt inside out. Me? Laughing my head off the whole time.

"We're all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh?"

I'm sure it will eventually be to my advantage that I chose to write my dissertation on something original where access to participants is near-impossible, but at the moment it's just plain irritating. Answer my e-mail requests for information, you snooty medical professors...

Craving the starch sounds like it might be it.

I'm having the worst sugar cravings since I cut starch out. I'm trying to soothe them with a little bit of fruit and a lot of caffeine. Not working yet. Time for another cuppa, methinks.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Ick. Just tried to eat some grapefruit. This was the least juicy grapefruit ever -- all dry and gross. Threw out the grapefruit, had a banana instead.

After the F2F, when I was eating all kinds of yummy things, I'm now back on the straight and narrow (hoping to make myself a bit narrower). sigh ... it's no fun at all.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I am not going to even bother eating healthy until my birthday beach weekend is over. There are too many good things here.

I can haz internets! Yay, for unsecured networks!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Shock and awe here. Named by a guy who seemed sincerely scared of them.

t giggles

Wow. That's... something.

re: eating healthy, I'm in desparate need of getting back to the gym. I was doing really well for a few weeks, and then I fell right off that wagon.

The ant supercolony freaks me out.

“Not dead yet!”

I am in outside clothes and actually sitting at my desk for the first time in a week. Let's see how long this lasts. I do have to go outside-- must venture to the Vortex of Spendiness known as Target.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

"And I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords"

This part is awesome:

They then matched up the ants in a series of one-on-one tests to see how aggressive individuals from different colonies would be to one another.

I hope they built a little forum and did the thumbs up/thumbs down thing. I'm going to trust that a bunch of Ant PhDs are going to be nerd enough to do this.
