When I figured out prescription Motrin was essentially just 800 mgs, I knew I could take 4 ibuprofen for a really bad tooth or whatever.
As Tylenol has only ever been any use to me as a fever-reducer, or in combination with an NSAID, I've never been tempted to exceed the dose on the label. But other things for which I am aware that a higher, prescription strength dosage exists, I will cheerfully ignore the instructions. I do make sure to fess up to the doctor exactly how much I take, and have mostly gotten confirmation that I'm not insane for doing that.
I am, however, insane for other reasons. Most notably, my subconscious. I just woke up from a dream in which I was wandering around in a bathrobe, getting ready to take a shower, when Richard Dean Anderson shows up. WooHoo, right? Yup, cuz I really needed a tall person to help me put the shower curtain up, thank you very much, and now do you mind, I'd like to take my shower now by myself so I can go to work.
My subconscious has a serious lack of imagination.
At least I have killer shoes to go with.
I could picture the dress better if I could see the shoes.
I'm a drug lightweight and take kid portions, if any.
eta: I'll bet RDA would have scrubbed your back if you asked nice.
Barb, don't worry, you are going to look fantastic in that dress. Do you even know how to buy things that look bad on you?
Also, Vortex, whether your boobs are being demure or assertive, you are fantastic and gorgeous and will surely wow 'em all.
Note to self: When the salad bar has whole kalamata olives, do not put eleventy bazillion of them in your salad, as the brand they use is SUPER salty and would have been better used as three or four diced up and spread throughout the salad.
Your subconcious cracks me up, WindSparrow.
Gorgeous dress, Barb. I love it. An if you evoke the image of a graceful Japanese eggplant, well, it is the gothiest vegetable.
I am Glamcookie wrt OTC meds. most of the time I forget that there are painkillers available when one has pain, or decongestants, or whatever.
I don't generally take painkillers, except for cramps (you want me standing up, right?) and for really bad sinus headaches (and that's mostly because I want the decongestant).
I could picture the dress better if I could see the shoes.

The purple on the heels isn't quite as bright as the picture represents. They're more subtle. And again, I'm boggling at the price. I paid $120.00 for mine. ::hugs outlet mall and its insane discounts close::
And thanks guys-- I shall try not to stress over the thirty extra pounds that have crept up over the last eighteen months. I mean, health issues + stress aren't mixy things and I'm healthier now than I was six months ago.
Do you even know how to buy things that look bad on you?
I've had my share of lulus, Andi. I am almost fatally seduced by aqua blue despite the fact that it turns me a lovely shade of jaundice and I know this. Yet it doesn't stop me from trying to find the right shade.
Oh! Shiny shoes. I'm sure you will look lovely.
I wonder what the pedi color should be? I have a dark blue/purple that I love and I think would be nice.
