Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I think it's hysterical (and totally predictable) that all three of us chatted, had a great night, said it was time for bed, and then promptly got online. On three separate computers/iPhones.

It's almost like y'all are Buffistas or something.

That's good to know, Kristin, thanks! I'm sure I'm getting worked up over nothing, but still.

Oh! Yes, I can add that Harvey and Sammie both had dental cleanings done last year, and both came through with flying colors. Upon return home, they each seemed a bit groggy, but not as drunk as when they got fixed.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

namaste , bonny. a word I don't use, but it makes sense in this case.

2nd opinion sounds good, some cats just build tarter -- so he/ she may need it , but waiting won't hurt in a young cat

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

I have houseguest. Not Jessica, or any Buffista, sad to say. BUT! After watching the Yankees win (my team) and the end of the Red Sox tragedy (her team) she was like "now what" and I said, "well, there is always Dr. Who", which she gleefully said "SURE!". But lo! She only knew the OLD shows (which I have yet to watch), and she was VERY much caught up in our favorite David Tennant, and the "Human Nature"/"Family of Blood" episodes. She asked "and you can rent these?", which leads me to believe she will!

With that, I should head to bed.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

With that, I should head to bed.

With her?

Because...baseball, Dr. Who. I mean, are you even trying?

I wish. Lovely red headed painter gal. Alas, like all women in my life, she is happily taken, and I am not one to try and split up a friend for short term pleasures. t gentleman

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

But lo! She only knew the OLD shows (which I have yet to watch),

Watch them!

I need to get more of them on DVD. They're down to AU$17 now at Borders. I want to get Image of the Fendahl and Horror of Fang Rock - that was when Dr Who tried darker horror-themed storylines, before bloody Mary Whitehouse kicked up a stink about it.

Poor little noodle had his 2-month immunisations today. We rugged him up and took him to the doctor's. In the waiting room he's fascinated by Wallybee's car keys and her bright orange beanie. We get in to see the doctor, he swallows the oral Rotavirus vaccine very happily. We put him on the bed for the injections, I get the top end to look after. He's looking over at me, and then suddenly his face lights up in a big smile. *sniff* That didn't last long.

He coped really well, though. At the first injection, his whole head turned bright red and he started howling, but he was already calming down by the time he got the second one. He cried with the second one too, but without the same urgency. He was completely settled again within a couple of minutes of me picking him up again.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

Aww, poor babytea! It sounds like he's okay now, though.

Yay for Doctor Nilly!!!!! Love your pics--you look so happy, and how great to have your friends and family there with you. You should get that last one (of you throwing your cap) framed!

I hate it when I blow off eating dinner until 2:00 am. But, I won't be able to get to sleep if I don't eat something, so I popped some popcorn and opened a can of pineapple chunks. I had salad for lunch, but that's it since Monday afternoon. Don't know why I'm not eating.
