Book: I believe I just... I think I'm on the wrong ship. Inara: Maybe. Or maybe you're exactly where you ought to be.

'Serenity'

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Shiny! Makes me want to skin mine.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oooh, now I want a skin.

OnDemand programming is brought to me by Viagra. I am 12 because I am giggling that my OnDemand show is being brought to me by an on demand boner.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Ooh, that's lovely, Hec. Actually, they all looked lovely. Hmm. Now I want a skin for my Mac. (My iPod has a skin, which is a sort of montage of comic book imagery & the like, including Rosie the Riveter, some Andy Warhol pics and Superman etc.)

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Nice skin, Hec! I like a lot of things over at gelaskins.com. I got this one for my netbook.

“Not dead yet!”

Oooh... I like the book one, although I think it might ultimately drive me a little nuts with how busy it is.

I cant' remember where I made my custom skin-- I think it was at skinit.com.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I think I would have to have the Blue Willow.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

It's warm - highs in the upper 80s predicted - and sticky outside. Inside? about 65. I'm freezing - I'm wearing a light linen jacket and have my office sweater over my lap, but I'm still freezing. Hot coffee isn't much help. We've tried to get the building management to turn down the AC, but seemingly the people on the upper floors get hot.

I need some Buffistas to snuggle with.

Librarian Warlord

Between my office, and the office next to mine there is often a 10 degree difference, and my coworker will end up wearing fingerless gloves while he waits for building services to come and tell him they don't think anything is wrong with the system.

Thinking of of my office, I really need to go through and find not-maternity clothes to wear when I go back to work in 2 weeks. That's going to be one frustrating trip through the closets.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

My office is a little chilly, but nothing unbearable. (Although I'm wearing sandals, and my toes are cold enough that I'm seriously thinking about getting my gym socks from my workout bag that's in the car.)

ION, I've had "Off the Wall" stuck in my head for 3 days now. Enough!
