Oz is the highest-scoring person ever to fail to graduate.

Spike's Bitches 44: It's about the rules having changed.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

At my Dad's memorial I got a bunch of pictures from his wife.

I love this one of my Mom at age 13.

My sister Judy (working the hippie madonna look to perfection) and my nephew Chris.

I think I look oddly like Jodie Foster in this picture. (A rare picture of me from around age 11 or 12. With my nephew. I'm wearing my POW bracelet.)

But I turned out okay.

Cool shot of my Dad onstage in Under Milkwood. Dig that handlebar moustache! Early 70s, obviously.

Me in England, in the 80's, waiting for a train. I don't really remember looking like that. But I still have that leather jacket.

Compassionately intolerant

I don't think you look like Jody Foster, but you SURE look like Emmett in that shot with your cousin.

I'm so glad I popped in so I could say, Happy Birthday Hec. Many happy returns on your natal day.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Okay, so I'm watching and MJ video retrospective, and its bringing back some memories. Hilariously, the video for "Liberian Girl". If you were anybody in the 80's, you were in this video. I saw Beverly Johnson, Malcolm Jamal Warner, Sherman Hemsley, Brigitte Neilsen, Paula Abdul, Carl Weathers, Whoopi Goldberg, Quincy Jones, Jackie Collins, Amy Irving, Jasmine Guy, Rosanna Arquette, Billy Dee williams, Lou Diamond Phillips, John Travolta, Olivia Newton John, Cory feldman, Speilberg, Debbie Gibson, Wierd Al, Blair Underwood, Rick Shroeder, Suzanne Sommers, Lou Ferrigno, Don King, Mayim Bialik (Blossom), David Copperfield, Richard Dreyfuss, Danny Glover, Steve Guttenberg, and Dan Akroyd!! DAMN!

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

Brilliant entrepreneurial idea: collect and card cat fur, spin into wool, knit into doggie sweaters.

Why yes, i did just comb a very soft and fluffy cat.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

That would drive the dogs nuts.

eta: likely in a very entertaining way.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Can you imagine? Running around in circles all "where's that cat? There's a cat somewhere I just know it. Where the hell is that cat? Wait a minute, that cat smell is coming from me!! WTF? How much did I drink last night anyway?...Hey! I smell a cat!"

The status is NOT quo.

t jumps to end

t waves weakly at everyone

We've been in Connecticut since Thursday night. I'm finally mostly healthy after my bout with ND's cold, but he's still congested and grumpy (though being a good sport about spending time with my family). Am tired. Insomnia + jetlag = not good. We also need to pin down a rough guest list so we have a better idea of numbers for our wedding party/reception thingy and are kind of dreading that task. I'm thinking a nap is called for first.

For revenge, make a lovely scarf out of cat fur and give to someone allergic.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

You know, it's weird, but ever since I had my surgery, I've found that I have a bit more adverse reaction to eating foods that are very rich or fried foods. My stomach gets very rumbly with gas.

Barb, you might have picked up C. dif; it's unfortunately common with surgery, and it messes with your GI tract. In a lot of cases, it isn't bad enough to warrant hospitalization; just a low-grade annoyance, like you describe.

Do you take probiotics? If not, you might want to. The Enzymatic Therapy Pearls are really good. They also have a bigger-guns probiotic that has more bacteria strains, when your GI tract just won't behave: [link]

Maybe a month or two of probiotics will get your innards in order.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

Crikey, PC!

Well, fair enough - you weren't very interested in her, were you? Can't blame the woman for preferring to refocus on men who might fancy her. But where does this leave you?
