smonster should definitely remain ickless, otherwise I will only be able to wave at her from afar this weekend.
'Underneath'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I really should accomplish something more today than catching up on the internets and watching the saved episodes on my DVR.
Fuck! Laga, that is unpleasant and upsetting - but yay for healthy chunks of cash to tide you over!
Hive mind help? I have an author friend of mine who writes YA books and a couple of months back, began receiving MySpace messages from a user who appeared to be a teenage emo girl with a hateful diatribe against one of her books. She deletes it, goes on about her business, then about a month ago, gets another message from this girl, claiming that her brother had hacked her MySpace account and was the one who wrote the hateful stuff and she looooooooved her books and had posted a YouTube vid promoting it.
Well, my friend likes to give people the benefit of the doubt and of course, shit like this happens with teenagers and getting into online accounts, so she says, "Okay, thanks--" clicks over to the YouTube vid and it's some guy, hiding behind her cover and spewing vitriol. Completely goes off on her readers and such-- which is what bothers my friend more than the stuff about her. As she put it, "He can say what he wants about me-- I could care less, but I feel so bad for my readers, because he's calling them really nasty names and insulting their intelligence and in a lot of cases, these are just young girls."
Obviously, she doesn't want to feed the troll because she knows what he wants most is a response, but she'd really love for this video to go away. Any suggestions?
And here's the vid: [link]
Can she complain to YouTube?
It's only got 139 views. If she ignores it, it probably won't get many more. If everyone goes and looks at it...
Yeah... for the moment, she's taking the high road, don't feed the troll approach. What a dickhead this guy is, though.
I didn't go look because I didn't want to up the view count. If people do go there they can flag it as inappropriate. I don't know how the flag process actually works. Ignoring is probably the best approach.
Undisputed dickhead, no doubt. But so far he seems like the kind of dickhead who rants his weirdly personal rant into the void without any large volume of anybodies even hearing. I hope it stays that way.
The good, the bad, and the ugly ...
Good is Emeline ... although she grew up when I wasn't looking.
Bad is Laga losing her job - may you find a better one soon.
Ugly is that troll on YouTube - bleah. Nasty AND pompous.
On the other hand, how perfectly Buffista is this?
