I tried to get some sleep when the babies slept.
I, unfortunately, am not a natural napper. Also, I'm a morning person, so it's two strikes against me for getting some sleep right now.
how is your beautiful baby girl?
Beautiful, indeed! She smiles! She coos!
Oh, cooing. How I miss cooing. And the discovery of fingers and toes.
Aww, I love cooing babies.
This is the e-card The Boy sent me: [link] He's such a romantic.
Oh, cooing is the best! If your camera has a video function, try to capture some for posterity. Tragically, it doesn't last.
sj, I am slackjawed at the presumptuous do-goody fuckwittery. Mildly appeased by the simple decency of the people who helped omnis, but mostly slackjawed. How do you manage to not kill everyone every time you go out? Because it sounds like a lot of them could use it, as a gentle aid to basic common sense and manners.
And...
on this glorious morning...
HAPPY TEPPY DAY!!!
Also born today:
Johannes Gutenberg (how appropriate)
Alan Turing (nifty!)
Alfred Kinsey (also very appropriate)
Joss Whedon (just really fucking cool)
JZ, Mostly the people who know me steer me out of the way before I lose it.
Happy birthday, Teppy! I hope you're well fed and you enjoy your birthday spankies.
Also, happy birthday to Joss, Johannes, Alan and Alfred. Dudes, I love your work.
Hmmm...I'm in a class right now where our project is to come up with a person who revolutionized something, and then write an article on him/her. We can't choose someone previous classes have picked.
Gutenberg and Turing have already been taken; maybe I'll suggest Kinsey and Whedon. I've already suggested RuPaul, Copernicus (not taken WTF, Joseph Campbell (voted down as no one knows who he was), Susan B. Anthony, and Penn and Teller.
Class votes tomorrow, so I'm sort of hoping someone ELSE nominates someone also.
