Giles! I accidentally killed Spike. That's okay, right?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Ow. Everything hurts. Don't wanna be awake today. Really don't wanna do math today.

Trust my rage

Yay for more Buffista babies!

And I hope everyone makes it to the F2F. Surely ND has taken all the bad travel karma? But I guess a little was left over for Fay.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Extra travel~ma to all.

I didn't hand in my papers today - stupid opening hours, I'm studying in them. I hope that tomorrow still counts - they said until 18/6, and when they say "until" in Israel, it usually means "including that day".

Because I only got to know about the deadline yesterday, you know? And I did the automatic photo-murder shit for this one, so they should accept me.

Nah, I'm kidding. I'm certain that this way or another I'll fulfill myself academically. I'm just tired of getting "no"s from programs I want to take part in. All that energy, hope, and in vain. So... cross your fingers.

Also, I think that next week is last week of me hanging out here until test season, who will start in about a week and a half will be over. If I want to get accepted to this program, this time it'll be crucial.

Ouch, Hil. I'm sorry for the pain rebounding on you.

Trust my rage

My morning:

Joe and I spend an hour (seriously) discussing whether we pay out of pocket to ship our car to the east coast (faster and we have access to our car while out there) or send it to Dallas to get in August. (eta: it took so long because there are lots of pros and cons but I'm too tired of thinking about them to type them out.)

Then we find out that the three weeks we are in DC, we (the kids and I) can't stay in the place Joe is staying in because he will be sharing a bathroom. They might let us have both rooms sharing the bathroom, but only if there is space available. Not sure when we will resolve this.

Joe gets a call that some thugs? terrorists? attacked their night guard with a machete last night at 3am, sending the poor elderly man to the hospital. The criminals left a bag of molotov cocktails behind. No one else was hurt but the guards arm and hand were cut up pretty bad.

Is it too early for me to be eating ice cream? Because I feel exhausted.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Ice Cream seems necessary at this point.

I think the ice cream is definitely well-deserved, Stephanie.

Pain-management~ma, Hil.

Academic-program~ma, Shir!

I'm starting to get paranoid about my travel plans. Maybe I should camp out at the airport Thursday night to make sure all goes well with my flight on Friday. Eep!

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Never too early to ice cream.

Luck to Shir.

Pain relief to Hil.

Sail, me too. I'm terrified that I'm going to oversleep Friday morning.

Uggh, work. Why?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Ice cream is a valid response.

Punishingly Intricate

gah! Hope everyone gets where they want to be (with what they need) with as little stress as possible.
