Simon: Captain... why did you come back for us? Mal: You're on my crew. Simon: Yeah, but you don't even like me. Why'd you come back? Mal: You're on my crew. Why we still talking about this?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Tep, so sorry. And I know it shouldn't matter, but unfair stuff happening near a birthday just seems extra unfair.

"already on the kiss-cam with Karl Marx"-

That's really awful, Tep. I so wish I could be at f2f, too, but I'm sure my half-drunken shouts of "Victory!" might even alarm Buffistas. Although going by previous events, drinking at f2f is the closest I get to knowing what Vince's life is like: Everything's okay and I end up kissing loads of people...throw in approval on the aguaman suit, and I'd be golden, baby.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, Tep, my condolences to your mom. Our own parish just shut down its K-6 school completely last year--even before the economy tanked altogether, the whole Bay Area was struggling and enrollment had dropped by somewhere between a quarter and half. But at least they worked their asses off to find other jobs for the one or two staffers who were in something like your mom's position (mostly half-time work in various diocese offices, but at least something), so they'd have some kind of continuous paycheck until they actually hit 65. The people at your mom's school, OTOH, just sound kind of dickish.

I'm so sorry for her. In addition to all the financial worries, what an utter gutpunch.

I'm sorry, Steph.

I hope things smooth out for you soon, smonster.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Thanks for the good wishes, all. Stoopid meds. Stoopid, necessary meds.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Damn, Tep, that is cold. Hoping your mom is able to make some sort of peace with it quickly. Effers.

Sorry to hear that, Tep.
