I'm a single undead gal trying to make it in the big city. I have to start somewhere and they're evil here. They don't judge. They've got necro-tempered glass. No burning up. A great medical plan, and who needs dental more than us?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risqué (and frisqué), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

If I get on the flight out of San Francisco then I will arrive about 5.5 hours later than scheduled.

I think we need to hire a witch doctor or something to try and rid you of this planes/checkout lines thing. It's getting ridiculous.

Happy Birthday, javachick!

Happy Birthday, Dylan!

Steph, is there any consequences to taking Prilosec OTC/Omeprazole past the recommended fourteen-day course of treatment? Say, for example, every single day for the rest of my life?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Tom, I've been prescribed it like that, so I hope not.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I've just assumed that's OK, as I've been doing that for years....

Our wings are not tired.

In sigh of relief news, an 18yo lad has been arrested for a string of 30+ cat killings in Miami. I won't link to the stories because they are more than upsetting. People in the area have been justifiably freaked out about this string of kitty assaults. Let's just say from the comments in the local coverage the boy is safer in jail. The kids were very happy to hear that the sicko was caught.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Happy Birthday, Dylan!

Happy Birthday, javachick!

I have a check for $300 from United now and I'm on the first plane. However this plane is delayed and I'm currently going to have less than 20 minutes to make my connection.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Nope -- lots of people take it chronically. The OTC directions for use just say that as a CYA thing. Plus, the idea is that if you need it for more than 2 weeks, you might want to go to the doctor to make sure you don't have an alien baby in your stomach (when I say "you," I mean the general OTC drug-using public, who might be trying to medicate something they don't really have).

If you need it, taking it chronically is no problem.

It won't, however, fix an alien baby problem.
