Saffron: But we've been wed. Aren't we to become one flesh? Mal: Well, no, uh... We're still two fleshes here, and I think that your flesh ought to sleep somewhere else.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I'm hanging with the entire family and it's been a little rough. Last night I went overboard with the limoncello. Oof, feeling rough.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Poor d, whole family can be too much.

not your mom's socks.

d - glad you made it all safe, and after the move and the unpacking and the trip, a little lot of limoncello is I think, due.

Hands up if you think that woman trying is trying to mess with Askye's head with the garbage bag thing. Grr. Good luck with the apartment.

Stephanie - much calm~ma and moving~ma.

Still laughing at the swing posts and the cherry muffin posts.

Sparky - getting in to work and being on time when you have a new baby at home? I think one or the other, but not both. Do you need or want anything?

Raq - how's Mal doing today?

move out and draw fire

I suddenly need to go get goat cheese, figs, and prosciutto. But I am also trying to rein in our food bill.

Raq - how's Mal doing today?

He's okay. He definitely has the swine flu, which is making me think R does as well (and I know they both had flu shots). Mal's daycare called yesterday afternoon to say that they have a confirmed case of the swine flu, so I would guess that's where Mal got except for the fact that R got sick first.

But of course R teaches big classes full of people coming in from all over the world.

Anyway, this means that we aren't going to the daycare graduation today (I don't even know that they are going to have it). It also means that R and I celebrated our 18th anniversary yesterday with Gatorade and saltines.

But when Mal's no longer contagious and can be babysat, we're going to have dinner here: [link]

Oh Raq, that's terrible. Hope your family feels well soon.

I'm still hungover. It sucks. Blech.

I introduced my brother to MCR.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Thanks - I worry about Mal because of his asthma; I don't want the H1N1 to turn into pneumonia. Fortunately I'd already taken leave for today to attend the graduation.

I'm supposed to be going to the Blog Potomac conference tomorrow, but may skip that.

{{{Raq and Mal}}} I hope the little guy is feeling better soon.
