Middle school sucks. Mostly because of middleschoolers.
True dat. And I say that as a (now former) middle school teacher.
Today was our last day. Broke up a fight between 2 7th grade girls (they fight dirty, boyo). Said goodbye to kids and some coworkers. Avoided the "goodbye, we'll miss you party" because I couldn't stomach the hypocrisy. Instead I went out to lunch with my co-teacher and one of our students. Much nicer.
Still don't have a job for the fall and that just sucks.

so... I'm pretty sure that when I left the 9 ginger ale bottles they were in a jumble on the counter. Now they're in the shape of a triangle. Would everyone please reassure me I must have done that absentmindedly and there's no way a ghost did it?

*yawn* I really should have gone to bed an hour ago given that I have to get up in the morning. Two more mornings of alarm clocks and then VACATION for reals. Yay! We also picked up my engagement ring tonight, and it makes me smile. It's a simple white gold band with little square-cut diamonds and rubies in the front. I posted a picture (albeit a fuzzy, not-so-great iPhone picture) in Facebook. The actual wedding planning is going along, as I mentioned in Beep Me. The after-wedding party is going to be crazy, but hopefully also lots of fun. I hope at least a few Buffistas make it out! We may have to share part of the transcript from the board that night, I think.

Yay! I'm also really happy that you're coming to Seattle for this year's F2F (though it's sad that we'll see each other more there than we have lately here!).
It really is a shame how little I've seen of youse guys lately. I'm getting a car if I have any money left after the f2f! Maybe I should skip the trip to the REI flagship store.
