OMG you guys, a roof rat just came in under our front door! A rat! In our house!!!!! Luckily, it saw Jason and instantly turned around and left (we had the wooden door open and there is a space under the screen door). Our apricot tree in the backyard is dropping fruit and it attracts them, but this is the front of the house. And it came inside!

Not one of our two dogs and two cats noticed.

Phew. I've been productive (though not quite as productive as I'd hoped) and am down to the final grading of the year: 12 poetry explications and the 47 final exams I'll be getting tomorrow. Woot! So close!

I think I'm going to relax for a little bit and then try to get a decent night's sleep. Got to give exams in the morning. Night, all!

Kristin - I can't for the life of me remember the brand name, but i got a drug store variety "no boil" model that just has two pads for btwn the molars, and a thin strap holding them together that goes on the outside of the lower teeth. It's the one kind that never makes me gag, partially i think b/ there is nothing btwn front teeth. I gave up on the super spendy dentist fitted ones b/ i grind through anything in months.
