Also, congrats on the jean fittage! that's always a good feeling. I've been on the Wii Fit an average of 27 mn/day for the last 46 days and have no change to how anything fits. But I am in better shape, so that's good, but still.

Kristin, do the boxing mouthguards work for you as nightguards? I've had friends switch to them with success to save money.

Unfortunately I can't sleep with those; they make me gag. I found that out the hard way with the $300 soft guard I got a couple of years ago. Should have used the cheap pharmacy kind since I couldn't sleep in either of them. Ah well.
I trimmed the corners off mine. It didn't completely cover my back teeth but it still kept them from grinding.
Kristin is the HMO just a dental HMO or is it your dental and regular HMO?
I ask because my dental plan is just a reimbursement, but my HMO (medical) covers the cost of the nightguard with a referal from my regular doctor.
